Timberlake was born in Memphis on January 31, 1981. He came onto the music scene as a member of the band 'N Sync, which was established in the year 1996. As a solo artist as well as the Southern superstar, he has played a major role in the teen pop explosion of the ’90s and 2000s. Justin Timberlake truly deserves the title of superstar as he is responsible for the smashing hits like "Pop," "Gone," and "Girlfriend". With 'N Sync sales exceeding 30 million worldwide, Timberlake ventured out on his own with his highly acclaimed solo effort.

Justin walked away with 3 of the 7 awards he was nominated for on MTV's 2003 Music Video Awards. This included the Best Male Video and Best Pop Video for "Cry Me A River," and Best Dance Video for "Rock Your Body." He also received two AMA nominations for favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album.
